Quality, Safety, and Environment Technician (Porto)
MAP Engenharia e Construção, a leading company in the construction and rehabilitation sector, is looking to strengthen the team of the Quality, Safety, and Environment Department with a Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSA) Technician for Porto.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Designing, planning, and developing prevention and protection activities against professional risks on-site.
- Collaborating and supporting the implementation of legal and contractual QSA requirements.
- Identifying and assessing hazards/risks associated with activities on-site and within the organization.
- Promoting and delivering training/awareness sessions as needed.
- Preparing, controlling, and verifying the documentation of the Quality, Safety, and Environment Management System and works.
- Assisting with internal and external QSA audits.
- Participating in Safety Coordination meetings on-site, promoted by the client or the Labor Conditions Authority (ACT).
- Preparing accident reports, supporting and developing safety procedures, and emergency plans.
- Leading and participating in the resolution of non-conformities and the implementation of corrective, preventive, and improvement actions for the Management System.
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
- Monitoring and following up on the indicators and objectives defined by MAP’s standards.
Qualifications and required experience:
- Training as a Workplace Safety and Hygiene Technician – Level IV (authorized by ACT).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles within the construction sector.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards (preferred).
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (preferred).
- General computer skills in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Responsibility and organizational abilities.

- Availability for travel within Portugal.

The main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and coordination of one or more construction projects.
- Coordination and supervision of all tasks carried out by the various teams on site.
- Responsibility for the execution of all markings on site.
- Receiving and controlling all materials and equipment on site.
- Control of all personnel assigned to the project.
- Responding to all requests from the Project Manager.
- Prepare all tasks for execution.

Construction Manager
MAP Engenharia e Construção, a leading company in the construction and rehabilitation sector, is looking to strengthen the team in the Production Department with a Civil Engineer to fill the position of Construction Manager (M/F) in Lisbon.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and coordinating the project together with all the Production Support Departments.
- Preparation of the project’s re-budgeting.
- Consulting, negotiating, and awarding subcontracting and supply contracts.
- Execution and strict monitoring of the project work plan.
- Daily management of human resources (team sizing), materials, equipment, and costs, with the goal of ensuring quality and complying with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Supervising the quality, safety, and environmental control of the project in coordination with the Safety Technician and the Foreman.
- Preparation of Measurement Reports for Subcontractors and Production Reports for the Project Owner.
- Contract management with the Project Owner and Inspection Authorities.
- Economic control of the project.

Construction Planner (Lisbon)
MAP Engenharia e Construção, a leading company in the construction and rehabilitation sector, is looking to strengthen its Production Department team with a Construction Planner (M/F) for Lisbon.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Integration into the Studies and Projects Department, providing direct support to the Production Department.
- Analysis of complete execution projects (Designs and Specifications).
- Analysis of Errors and Omissions processes.
- Execution of project preparation at all levels, adapting the execution plan to the actual site conditions.
- Measurement of projects in accordance with the specifications, written parts, and drawings.
- Critical analysis of project solutions and exploration of alternative/variant solutions in collaboration with the Project Management, suppliers, and designers.
- Analysis and coordination of the various projects across different specialties.
- Preparation of site plans in accordance with the necessary resources, site conditions, and current regulations.
Required qualifications:
- Technical vocational course in civil construction (preferred).
- Experience in preparation, measurement, and drafting of civil construction projects.
- Experience in project preparation for a general contractor – minimum 5 years.
- Computer skills (Office, AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Project).
- Fluency in English (preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge in Architecture design and various specialties.

As principais funções a desempenhar serão:
- Integração no Departamento de Estudos e Projetos, dando apoio direto ao Departamento de Produção;
- Análise de Projetos de Execução completos (Projetos e Cadernos de Encargos);
- Análise de processos de Erros e Omissões;
- Execução de Preparação de Obra a todos os níveis, adaptando o Projeto de Execução à realidade da Obra;
- Medição de projetos de acordo com o caderno de encargos, partes escritas e peças desenhadas;
- Análise crítica às soluções de projeto e estudo de soluções alternativas/variantes em conjunto com a Direção de Obra, fornecedores e projetistas;
- Análise e compatibilização dos diversos projetos das diferentes especialidades;
- Elaboração de Plantas de Estaleiro em conformidade com os meios necessários, condicionantes dos locais e regulamentação em vigor.
Habilitações necessárias:
- Curso técnico profissional de construção civil (Preferencial);
- Experiência em preparação, medição e desenho de Obras de construção civil;
- Experiência em preparação de Obra em empreiteiro geral – mínimo 5 anos
- Conhecimentos de informática (Office, AutoCAD, BIM e MS Project);
- Fluente em Inglês (Preferencial);
- Bons conhecimentos técnicos a nível de Projeto de Arquitetura e das várias especialidades;
- Boa capacidade técnica e atitude comercial;
- Perfil proativo e autónomo;
- Capacidade de organização, gestão de prioridades e tempo.
