Internship opportunities
Civil Engineering Intern
MAP Engenharia e Construção, a leading company in the construction and rehabilitation sector, is launching its Professional Internship Plan (M/F), lasting 6 months, for the Greater Lisbon and Porto regions.
As part of its growth strategy and focus on the training and development of young professionals’ careers, we aim to integrate recent graduates with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (M/F) into the Production, Commercial, and Warranty and After-Sales Departments.
Practical work experience:
- Assist and support Civil Engineers in the company with their projects (day-to-day tasks).
- Help with preparing proposals for clients.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and material estimates.
- Follow the initial stages of project development (design) through to construction.
- Increase knowledge of the tools used by the company (AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, etc.).
- Join inspections to establish reference points and guide the construction process.
- Support in verifying construction processes, foundations, etc.
- Increase market knowledge related to suppliers, competitors, and clients.
Required qualifications:
- Recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral.
- General computer skills in the following programs: MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
Other requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
- Enrollment in IEFP Internship (advantage) – must be registered as unemployed with the IEFP (eligibility requirement).
- Possibility of continued employment with a work contract after the completion of the internship.
