The beautiful 18th century building, Alecrim 51, currently under construction and refurbishment by MAP Engenharia, will be an exclusive and sophisticated development of 13 studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. Each apartment will be refurbished, retaining some of the original stucco ceilings, stonework, tiles and woodwork. The entrance hall and staircase will be fully restored, retaining all original stonework, tiles and flooring.
The finishes include terracotta ceramics, Catalano crockery, Viegas and Bruma taps, Fenesteves flooring, double-glazed wooden frames, Mitsubishi central heating and air conditioning, and Siemens and Bosch appliances. A TKE lift will be installed to ensure comfort and accessibility.
At the start of this refurbishment, the BIM model was implemented, which has undoubtedly helped to eliminate potential errors that are common in this type of construction/refurbishment.
As the work draws to a close, MAP Engenharia is working meticulously to deliver a work of excellence that complements the emblematic area of Lisbon in which it is located, enhancing the quality of the construction and the luxury of the finishes. This project will have a very positive impact on both residents and the many tourists who visit the city.
