The comprehensive rehabilitation project of the Edifício Rua Áurea, located in the heart of Baixa Pombalina, involved transforming a historic building into a modern and functional space. Comprising 7 floors above ground and 1 basement level, this predominantly residential building was adapted to accommodate 12 luxury apartments and 3 commercial spaces on the ground floor. The project, of considerable complexity, required deep demolitions that were carefully integrated with the preservation and restoration of significant structural and architectural elements, respecting the historical character of the property.

Due to its central location and the space constraints typical of Baixa Pombalina, the undertaking presented significant logistical challenges. However, the final result is a building that combines tradition and modernity, featuring high-quality finishes, a new elevator installation, and advanced systems that ensure acoustic insulation, thermal efficiency, and maximum safety. The Edifício Rua Áurea stands out for its construction excellence and the harmonious integration of contemporary solutions within a building with a long history.

This rehabilitation not only restored the architectural relevance of the property but also elevated the standard of living on Rua Áurea, one of the most emblematic streets in Lisbon.
