MAP Engenharia signs 4 contracts worth 70 million euros at the end of the first half of the year

MAP Engenharia, a Portuguese construction company, announces the signing of four new contracts in different sectors of the real estate market, namely the hotel, education and residential sectors, and in different locations: Cascais, Lisbon, Setúbal and Évora.

As early as April 2024, MAP Engenharia announced that 2024 would be a year in which it would double its turnover, forecasting a turnover of 80 million euros. The company’s growth prospects for the coming years are confirmed by the recent signing of four new construction contracts totalling around 70 million euros, which will provide SEVERAL responses to the property market. This brings the Portuguese construction company’s current portfolio to 160 million euros.

In Cascais, work began on the Plátanos development in Quinta da Marinha, with a total of 13 villas and a gross surface area of 5,313 sqm. In Lisbon, the construction of the Redbridge Campus Ajuda International School, located on the grounds of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia of the University of Lisbon, will involve the adaptation of existing buildings to provide classrooms, activity rooms, teachers’ rooms, sanitary facilities and other educational solutions.

In Setúbal, the Vivva Setúbal residential megaproject, with a total construction area of around 30,000 sqm, will consist of 237 apartments ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, all with private parking and exclusive access to the condominium’s gardens, gym and swimming pool. Construction has now begun on the first phase. In the Alentejo, the former Convento do Carmo, in Évora, is being converted into a charming hotel complex, to be called the Carmo Convent Hotel, which will be another distinctive response to the tourist offer in Portugal.
