MAP Group: A New Cycle of Growth and Innovation

MAP Engenharia has entered a new phase of growth and diversification as part of the MAP Group, a business ecosystem that includes six companies specialising in different areas. This evolution was recently highlighted in an interview with Vida Imobiliária, where the founders and co-CEOs, José Rui Meneses e Castro and Diogo Abecasis, shared the vision behind this strategic restructuring.

According to José Rui Meneses e Castro, “the creation of MAP Group reflects the sustained growth of our company and the need to provide even more specialised responses to the challenges of the market. MAP Group is built on three fundamental pillars: construction, services, and investment. In the construction sector, three specialised companies stand out: MAP Engenharia e Construção, dedicated to large-scale projects; MAP Spaces, ffocused on the fit-out of offices, hotels, and commercial spaces; and VILLAS, the first boutique construction company in Portugal, exclusively dedicated to the construction of luxury villas.

MAP Group is also expanding its operations with the creation of MAP Property Services, responsible for managing property portfolios, and MAP Real Estate, which positions itself as a co-investor in the real estate market. Additionally, in the broader investment area, we have MAP Capital, the business division focused on diversifying businesses that complement the activities of MAP Group, with the goal of fostering value creation for the group. According to Diogo Abecasis, “this new approach allows us not only to build but also to co-invest in real estate projects, ensuring greater control over risks and, consequently, greater security for our partners.”

With a project portfolio valued at 150 million euros and the forecast to double its turnover in 2024, MAP Group reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and quality in the construction and real estate sectors.
