The construction of the new industrial unit of Queijaria Vale da Estrela for the production of DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) Serra cheese marks an important milestone in enhancing the cheese-making tradition of the region. With a gross area of 4,500 m², this facility has been designed to meet the highest standards of quality and food safety, ensuring the excellence of the products that make Queijaria Vale da Estrela a reference in the market.
The project includes the execution of direct foundations in reinforced concrete, ensuring the solidity and durability of the structure. The industrial hall is built with a metallic structure, providing an efficient and flexible solution for production. The facades and roof are clad with metal panels, while the exterior areas are enhanced with granite stone cladding from the region, giving the building a harmonious aesthetic that integrates into the natural environment.
In addition to production facilities, Queijaria Vale da Estrela will feature office areas, social facilities, and a reception area for visitors, including an exhibition space that offers a panoramic view of the production area. This configuration allows not only for the efficient operation of the cheese factory but also provides an enriching experience for visitors, who can learn more about the cheese production process.
The development of the entire surrounding area of Queijaria Vale da Estrela includes pedestrian and vehicular circulation areas, as well as ample parking and carefully planned landscaping, creating a welcoming and functional environment for both employees and visitors.
With this new unit, Queijaria Vale da Estrela reaffirms its commitment to quality and tradition in cheese production, standing out as an important player in promoting local flavors and traditions.
